About Woof! The Dog Groomer Located in Southeast Boise
Our Story
Hello, my name is Molly and I welcome you to my website! I appreciate you taking the time to learn more about my business.
I am a one on one small dog groomer and I provide full services grooms for dogs 25 lbs and under in my SE Boise home. The objective is to make it a successful and pawsitive experience for the groomer, owner and their precious pup.
Currently, I bathe dogs in the bathtub and set up my grooming station in my kitchen or living room.
How does Woof! The Dog Groomer work?
Since I work as a solo groomer this type of grooming is pretty specific to its needs to work at its best and it’s not right for everyone, such as:
- Unruly, aggressive dogs who do not tolerate groomings or nail trimming. There is a groomer for every dog; but keeping a tight schedule does not allow for dogs who bite, continuously attempt to bite, thrash, alligator roll and fight the process. Dangerous behavior such as the examples listed is better suited for a salon with more than one stylist or for a groomer located within a veterinary office.
- If dog needs more of a sedative than Trazodone or Gabapentin prescribed by a veterinarian because they can’t tolerate grooming then they need to be groomed in a vets office for their own safety. I will not risk my own or the pet’s safety to provide a service for them if they are too aggressive or with concerning health or medical conditions.
I communicate only through text messaging to answer all questions as well as location and appointment booking. No phone calls.
Proof of current rabies vaccine required.
Pricing
All dogs get a conditioning de shedding bath for their bath service. Trimming the inner corner of the eyes, shaving the paw pads, butthole and vulva are complimentary upon request. Teeth brushing and nail clipping/buffing, blow dry and brushing is included as is a bandana and a cologne spritz unless the owner opts out of the last two.
Bath only: Teacup sized dogs with short hair (think Labrador Retriever hair length) $50.00 or $75.00 with a haircut.
Bath only: Teacup sized dogs with long hair (any length longer than a Labrador Retriever) $54.00 or $79.00 with a haircut.
Bath only: Small sized dogs 10 lbs - 25 lbs with short hair (think Labrador Retriever length) $54.00 or $78.00 with a haircut.
Bath Only: Small sized dogs 10 lbs - 25 lbs with long hair (any length longer than a Labrador Retriever) $61.00 or $85.00 with a haircut.
